How you can help Haitians affected by the earthquake

We are currently pursuing several projects in south central Indiana.

We are going to be canvasing Martinsville, IN Walmart and Krogers asking for donations Saturday morning with plans of other locations in the future. If you would like to take a group and canvas an area in Indiana, please let us know.

We will be stationing several drop off locations for food drives. The Haitian people are going to be in desperate need for the following supplies and food:

Non-Perishable Food, Flashlights and Batteries, Generators

Shampoo, Soaps, Diapers Wipes, Canned Food, Peanut Butter

Rice, Beans, Tarps, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste and Staple items

DROP OFF SITES FOR ALL DONATIONS:

Grace Church – 4172 East Allison Road, Mooresville, IN
Hoosier Harvest Church – 4085 Leonard Road, Martinsville, IN
First United Methodist Church – 3150 E. Myra Lane, Martinsville, IN

Also, we will be locating collection jars at several locations in Morgan, Johnson, Hendricks, Owen, and Monroe county. If you are interested in helping out with this venture, we could use your help. We need people to find jars and locations that will allow us to drop them off at. We would need you to collect the money at least once a week and get it back to us. We have flyers ready to attach to the jars, just do not have the manpower to get them out everywhere possible. If you are interested, contact Larry Ralph Jr. 317-403-6999.

If anyone is interested in getting on the phone and contacting any business owners or churches that they know for donations OR a collection jar drop off site, please do so, and let us know about it.

Donate to Haiti Earthquake Relief

We have been receiving emails and requests of how to donate for relief of the Haitian people. We will be putting together relief teams (call if interested), and shipments of food, water, non perishable items. We desperately need funds for shipment purposes. We will be shipping out of the port of Miami. If anyone knows a trucking company that would provide discounted shipping, that would help as well. You can mail a check to

Ebenezer Haiti Missions
1992 Old St. Rd. 44
Martinsville, IN 46151
or can pay via PAYPAL on our sister site.

If you are interested in helping in any way you can or in relief teams, email us at larry.ralph@yahoo.com. Haiti can use everyone's prayers.

God Bless,
Larry Ralph Jr.

Earthquake Haiti 2010 North Coast Update St. Louis du Nord

Becky spoke with Dad (Larry Sr) around 10:30 am. Everyone (staff at Ebenezer Haiti Mission, Haitian friends, Dad, and Linda is safe and unharmed. The connection on the phone was bad so the conversation was short. The compound did not sustain any major damage, but he did say there were cracks. Right now we are trying to figure out a way to get them out of the country, but he said he does not want to leave right away due to the emotional climate in St. Louis du Nord. The people of Haiti believe this to be the end of the world and in some ways it is that way for them. If anyone has connections with travel in and out of the Haiti or the DR, please contact me 317-403-6999 or Becky 317-966-6812. We are transferring money for relief of the Haitians in St. Louis du Nord and for travel out of the country. When Port au Prince shuts down, a major supply chain of food and supplies is shut off to the north coast. If you would like to donate, please call us.

We received this email from DAD just an hour ago.

We are ok but the country is in shambles, I need you to western union money immediately. I am going to try and call you but all lines are down. Please tell everyone that we are ok. I will try to email you every day. We are going to try to get out thru the Dominican Rep if we cant leave PAP. Tell everyone to just pray for Haiti, it is terrible. Please keep checking your e=mail and forward this to whoever you think needs to know We Love You All-----DAD and LINDA
